Meet Our Management Team

Josh Kloos
President / Operations Manager
Josh has been in the landscape business since attending the University of WI – Stout. He comes from a landscape family background which has served him well. His father and grandfather owned a sod farm in the metro area since the early 1960s. From this he has the natural ability to lead and provide field management to ensure that his projects are done on time and with professional craftsmanship. Josh is strong in hardscape construction and has either been the foreman or the supervisor on Gardeneer’s largest projects. He is a MnDOT Certified Landscape Specialist and has certifications from ICPI and NCMA.

Tom Trzynka
Project Manager / Landscape Architect

Tom has a Bachelor’s of Landscape Architecture from North Dakota State University and has over 20 years experience in the landscaping industry. Tom is experienced in the design, estimating, and project management of a wide range of landscape projects. He is licensed in Minnesota and Wisconsin as a landscape architect and can manage any scale design-build project. Tom is also a MNLA Certified Landscape Professional.

Allen Mestad
Project Manager / Landscape Architect

Allen has a Bachelor’s of Environmental Design and Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Minnesota. He has over ten years experience in the landscape industry including the residential, commercial, development, and municipality sectors. Allen is a licensed landscape architect in Minnesota and is also a MnDOT Certified Landscape Specialist.

Tom Skraba Jr.
Irrigation Foreman
Tom has 5+ years in commercial and residential irrigation installation and service and is a member of the local 563 laborers union. Tom joined Gardeneer in the spring of 2019. Tom specializes in rooftop irrigation and sedum roofs.

Andrew Herzog
Residential Landscape Foreman
Andrew graduated from North Dakota State Univeristy with a BS in Landscape Architecture and a BS in Environmental Design as well as a Minor in Horticulture. He displays a high level of craftmanship and attention to detail in the projects he executes and is ICPI certified.

Dustin Nelson
Commercial Landscape Foreman

Dustin has 5+ years in commercial landscaping, and is a member of the local 49 union. He joined Gardeneer in the summer of 2019 and has been crucial in completing large scale projects. He is a 2009 graduate of Crown College with a bachelors degree in business management.

Irrigation Foreman

Roy has 25+ years in irrigation installation and landscaping, and is a member of the local 49 union. He joined Gardeneer in the fall of 2018 and has played a major role in Gardeneer’s Irrigation division.
